during my stay, I appreciated the hotel's proximity to Udawalawe National Park, just a short stroll away, and the beautiful Uda Walawe Reservoir, which was only a quick walk from the hotel, making it easy to discover the area's natural beauty.

I had a delightful stay at Centauria Wild, where the spacious Deluxe Room offered a stunning view of the lake from the balcony. The friendly staff were always eager to assist, and the breakfast buffet had a delightful variety of choices.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a few issues. The restaurant offered a limited menu, primarily continental, which lacked quality. our initial room had an overwhelming cigarette smell, requiring us to request a room change. Although the staff was accommodating, they seemed a bit indifferent, not delivering the warm service we expected for the price.

The rooftop deck offers amazing views of the park, and the large pool was perfect for the kids to splash around in.

The hotel features stunning gardens, providing a serene atmosphere. Our lake view room was beautifully designed, offering an incredible vista that was a joy to wake up to. The staff were exceptionally friendly, going out of their way to accommodate our early arrival, which made our stay feel personalized. The garden view surrounding the property creates a tranquil environment, enhancing the overall experience.

The Superior Deluxe Room with Lake View was spacious and offered breathtaking views of the Udawalawe Lake. The pool area was pristine, providing a fantastic spot to cool down after safari adventures. Dining options were diverse with delicious buffet selections, including fresh salad prepared by the chef right in front of us.

Recommend it for families with kids

The management was visible throughout our stay, which made a huge difference in service quality! My kids loved splashing in the massive pool while I enjoyed cocktails at the bar.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but it felt worth every penny.
